Thank You
Thank you to everybody who was able to join us on Thursday to share some memories of Dave and celebrate his life. Seeing so many people, from so many different times and places in his life was really moving for us, and it was great to hear some stories about him, both in the church and afterwards, in the pub and back at the house.
Just a couple of final things that people have asked about:
I have uploaded some photos of Dave to dropbox, for those of you who asked to see these. Go to https://bit.ly/2qwWWiv. If you have your own photos that you would like to share, you could add them to the dropbox folder, or e-mail them to me (hughjnoble@hotmail.com). From the same link, you can also download an mp3 version of his ‘Desert Island’ mix tape (made circa 1992?) which a couple of people spoke about.
Several people asked when Jan’s show at the Saatchi Gallery in London will be taking place. Collect Open runs from the 28th of February to the 3rd of March. There are more details at http://www.craftscouncil.org.uk/what-we-do/collect/
Some people also asked about making a donation in Dave’s name. There is a page set up at www.justgiving.com/davenoble1 raising money for LOROS, whose Hospice at Home team was a big help to all of us over the last weeks of my dad’s life.
And finally, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been supportive of the Noble family over the past few months. We have been really grateful for all the kind words, dog walking, offers of drinks and food, invites out, people stopping in, etc, etc. I fly back to California tomorrow, but it is nice for me to know that Jan has lots of support in the village and beyond.
Thank you,
Hugh
